Kingdom-verse Family Trees

The Kingdom-verse has deep lineages and rich histories, told across many stories.

Some of those lineages are reflected here.

Others will be added over time.

House Blackwood

Line of descent from Andarian I to Gabriana. Evrathedyn changed the family name to Blackwood when he married Rhosynora, following the events of The Raven and the Rush.

House Blackwood as seen at the end of the Kingdom of the White Sea Trilogy.

House Dereham

This chart reflects the state of House Dereham following the events of the Kingdom of the White Sea trilogy. At the top of the chart are Asa and Dryden, who had a small part in The Raven and the Rush.

Rhiagain Kings

The first six Rhiagain kings, beginning with Carrow. Some of these names and characters are reflected in The Claw and the Crowned.

The last of the Rhiagain kings. Dain and Darrick were both pushed out of the succession and believed to be dead. Eoghan's rule ended swiftly, without issue, and Oldwin the Meduwyn claimed the throne for his final months. These events are reflected in the Kingdom of the White Sea trilogy.

Houses Skylark and Edevane

This chart reflects the events of The Altruist and the Assassin and the subsequent five years between that book and The Belle and the Blackbird. Also reflected here are the Skylark connection to the Quinlandens, and a view into where Wyat (Scholar Edevane in the trilogy) fits in.

House Trevanion

A historical view of the Trevanion men who came before Desemir and Pesha. Many of these names are mentioned in The Melody and the Master, but are not characters on the page.

House Trevanion as reflected at the end of The Melody and the Master.

House Warwick

This chart shows the line of descent from Niall to Ransom and reflects the events of both the Kingdom of the White Sea trilogy and The Sylvan and the Sand.

Houses Wynter and Penhallow

Darek Summerton brought the Vjestik to Witchwood Cross and then changed his name to Wynter, to honor their new northern home. This shows the line of descent from Darek to Drazhan and Imryll, the main characters in The Claw and the Crowned. This also shows the various points at which other magic entered their bloodline.

The line of descent from Drazhan and Imryll's son, Aleksy, through Anastazja and Tyreste, the main characters in The Belle and the Blackbird.

The Penhallows of Witchwood Cross, proprietors of Tavern at the Top of the World. The Penhallows left the Westerlands when their tavern burned down, and moved to Witchwood Cross to begin a new life. This chart reflects the Penhallows as of the end of The Belle and the Blackbird.
